Jonas picks up on Tim’s interest and they start talking. To Tim’s surprise and delight, Jonas is also gay, and more than willing to help Tim end his dry spell. Tim jumps at the opportunity, and is soon back at Jonas’s apartment. But will one time be enough?

The Neighbor: A Gay Erotic Age Gap Short Story by May Lacer

I’ve been really bad about keeping this blog up to date on anything other than my reviews. There were two weeks when I didn’t publish anything, and then when I published last weekend, I didn’t post about it.

So here’s last weekend’s short story. It’s my eleventh, and I’m still excited about being in double digits.
Get it on Amazon for $2.99 or read it for free with Kindle Unlimited. Find it here.

Pete’s neighborhood is being targeted by a thief. It’s mostly small stuff that’s being stolen, but the residents are spooked. When Brant, the only single man in the area, holds a neighborhood meeting, Pete goes with his mom. He might only be around for another few months before he leaves for college, but he wants to stop the thief as much as anyone.

A neighborhood watch is formed, and Pete signs up. To his delight, he’s paired with Brant. It’s a great opportunity for Pete to flirt, and he goes for it even though he expects to be turned down.

When Brant flirts back, Pete doesn’t let their eleven year age gap stop him from going after what he wants. It might only be a summer fling, but Pete isn’t looking for forever. All he wants is the neighbor.

After Hours: An Erotic Gay Short Story by May Lacer

My tenth short story is now out! Double digits! Get it on Amazon for $2.99 or read it for free with Kindle Unlimited. Find it here.

Bartending in a hotel lounge isn’t exactly Keagan’s dream job. Long hours, demanding customers, and the occasional disgruntled drunk comes with the territory. But the tips are good, especially when there’s a conference in town. Businessmen and women like to show off by being nice to the staff, and Keagan needs every dollar he can get.

The downside is that he works nonstop, running from one side of the bar to the other. From the moment he clocks in, he’s busy making drinks while talented professionals fill the lounge, intent on networking as they enjoy the fully stocked bar.

Only when the crowd begins to dwindle does Keagan lay eyes on the most attractive man he’s seen all night. Terrance’s dark skin sets him apart, as does the way he flirts with Keagan, to the disappointment of the women. Keagan knows better than to flirt too much while he’s working, but when Terrance comes back as he’s closing up the bar, Keagan jumps at the chance to spend the night with him.

The spark between them explodes into a raging inferno the moment they get behind closed doors. But is one night all they’ll have together? Or can they have more?

City Comfort: An Erotic Gay Short Story by May Lacer

I have to admit, this story came out last weekend and I completely forgot about posting it to the blog until Wednesday. And since I was days late anyway, I decided to just wait and post it at the same time I post this week’s story.

So here it is, my ninth short story. Get it on Amazon for $2.99 or read it for free with Kindle Unlimited. Find it here.

When his boyfriend freaks out about going to visit his extended family, Leo knows he needs to help any way he can. He brings over comfort food, hoping it will be enough to calm Aaron down. But when he finds Aaron in the middle of tearing his closet apart trying to find the perfect outfit, Leo realizes he needs to step up his game.

The best way to distract a panicking boyfriend is to make him focus on one thing. And Leo is more than happy to be that one thing. He doesn’t need amazing seductive skill to get Aaron calmed down. A few well-placed touches and Aaron returns to normal. But Leo worries his temporary solution won’t be enough.

So Leo promises Aaron some good, old-fashioned city comfort when he returns from his trip. The kind of comfort created when two willing bodies join together. As Leo describes what he’ll do to Aaron the next time they see each other, Aaron decides that he’s not willing to wait. And neither is Leo.

Tyler has been out and proud since he was sixteen. He lost a few friends when he came out, but most, like his childhood friend Corbin, didn’t care. Now that Tyler is eighteen, he’s looking forward to going off to college and finding a serious boyfriend, one he can give his virginity to.

When Tyler learns that Corbin is bisexual and never told him, the revelation sparks an argument. But Corbin has a good reason for not coming out yet. Tyler agrees to forgive Corbin for not telling him, with one condition. He wants a kiss, and not some quick peck on the lips.

The kiss quickly turns into more. Tyler isn’t ready to lose his virginity, but he’s not going to pass up the opportunity to fool around. Especially when Corbin’s muscular body is everything Tyler has ever wanted and more.

For months, Max’s relationship with his stepfather, Jeff, has gone downhill. When Max finds out it’s because Jeff has started drinking again, he knows his mom is the only person who can convince Jeff to sober up. But if Max stays at the house, he’ll only be in the way.

The only place Max considers staying is at his best friend’s house. Spencer is the oldest of five siblings, including twin five year old boys with lots of energy. There’s not much extra room in Spencer’s house, or his bedroom, but it doesn’t matter. Because Spencer isn’t just Max’s best friend, he’s also Max’s boyfriend.

Spencer doesn’t hesitate to invite Max to stay with him. The bed is small for two eighteen year old guys. Luckily, they don’t plan on spending much time asleep. Not when there are other, better things they could do.

Acting on Attraction: An Erotic Gay Short Story by May Lacer

Well, I should have put up this post last weekend but it totally slipped my mind and then I kept putting it off during the week. So here it is, my sixth short story!
Get it on Amazon for $2.99 or read it for free with Kindle Unlimited. Find it here.

“I’m sorry to get you involved in family business, but I couldn’t think of anyone else to ask.”

Robbie is touched when Ms. Weston, his former best friend’s mom, comes to him to ask for help. Her younger son, Drew, has grown distant and she doesn’t know what to do.

Robbie owes Ms. Weston for all the times she helped him when he was a kid. She became like a second mother to him, and was one of the first people he came out to when he realized he was bi. Robbie isn’t sure he can help with whatever moody teenage stuff Drew is going through, but he’s determined to try his best.

Much to Robbie’s surprise, Drew has grown up a lot in the two years since they last saw each other. Drew is eighteen now and getting ready to graduate high school. When he admits that he’s gay, Robbie recounts his own story about coming out, including how he lost his best friend, Drew’s older brother Cole.

Turns out, Cole’s rejection is what’s kept Drew from coming out to his mom. As Robbie and Drew talk openly about their experiences, an attraction blooms. Where before Robbie never saw Drew as anything other than his best friend’s younger brother, now he sees Drew as a man. But should he act on his attraction or keep to their old roles?

Blurb:

Brandon doesn’t mind getting snowed in, especially if he’s at home and well prepared for the storm. With forecasters predicting seven inches of snow, he won’t be going anywhere soon. And that’s fine with him. He could use a little bit of R & R.

Best of all, his mom is off visiting family so he has the entire house to himself. Between the movie marathons and junk food, he’s living the dream. But his solitude comes to an end when the doorbell rings.

Justin Marks was best friends with Brandon’s older brother. Brandon hasn’t seen him since Justin went off to college two years ago, and he can’t hide his surprise at the sudden visit. When Justin explains that his car went off the road nearby, Brandon invites him inside to warm up.

Brandon never looked at Justin in a sexual way before. But now, with just the two of them in the house and Justin fresh out of a hot shower, Brandon can’t keep his thoughts pure. He doesn’t plan on doing anything, but when Justin kisses him, Brandon discovers how much fun can be had during a snowstorm.

First Post

I’ve been intimidated by the idea of starting a blog for years. In my mind – and personal experience – bloggers are extroverted, high energy, socially knowledgeable people. I am none of those things. My social media presence is lackluster. And the idea that I could spend a lot of time building a blog that no one looks at makes me question the wisdom of starting a blog at all.

But I’m at a point where I’m willing to take a chance. So if you’re reading this first post, thank you. I can’t promise that I’ll be good at blogging, but I’m going to give it a shot. And hopefully, in time, I can create something I’m proud of. Or better yet, something that helps people find great gay romance fiction. After all, that’s the whole point.

~ May
